Located in the heart of Kensington, this prestigious 4 star hotel development featured major refurbishment works involving the merging of two buildings and the creation of a luxurious cocktail bar.
This project involved the renovation of the derelict Adelphi hotel next door requiring major structural alterations to link the two buildings together. The development included new public areas consisting of a reception/lounge, gym, breakfast room and the Checkmate Bar – a chess-themed bar and restaurant which served up specialised cocktails.
The extensive work also included the phased refurbishment of 200 bedrooms.
All works were undertaken with a fully-operational hotel in approximately 12 months.
